Chelsea Children’s Cooperative Preschool is looking for caring, dependable people who enjoy working with young children and families in a warm, play-based preschool setting.
Our school is a small, community-centered cooperative preschool where teachers, parents, and children work together. These are part-time, school-year positions, September through May, with a supportive board and involved families.
Open Positions
Program Administrator
Schedule:
Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM–1:30 PM
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM–11:00 AM
September–May
The Program Administrator oversees daily operations during preschool hours and helps keep the school running smoothly.
This position may be held by a lead teacher, teacher aide, program parent, or community member with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Lead Teacher Morning 3s
Schedule:
Two mornings per week, 8:00 AM–11:00 AM
September–May
The Lead Teacher for Morning 3s leads the class, plans a play-based curriculum, and builds warm, positive relationships with students and families.
Lead Teacher Morning 4s
Schedule:
Three mornings per week, 8:00 AM–11:00 AM
September–May
Optional extension program contract available from 11:00 AM–1:30 PM.
The Lead Teacher for Morning 4s leads the class, plans a play-based curriculum, and helps children grow in confidence, independence, and readiness for kindergarten.
