Job Description

• Part-time “Young 5’s” preschool teacher in a parent cooperative
program.
• Program runs 8:15-11:15 AM, Monday - Thursday, September-May
• Estimated class size of 12 students

Job Requirements

• Design the curriculum for a Young 5’s program within the guidelines and
philosophy of the preschool program as established by the program
director
• Prepare materials for Young 5’s program
• Teach Young 5’s program with parent helpers
• Provide student assessments
• Attend year-round monthly board meetings
• Some attendance at special events expected

Candidate Qualifications

• Completed teacher certification program
• Prior experience in a parent cooperative preschool program as a
teacher or parent desired
• Candidate should be flexible, energetic, and motivated by love of
children and support of families
