Tara Vesprini holds Bachelors of Music degrees in Cello Performance and Certification in Primary and Secondary Music Education from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is also a Certified Suzuki Teacher and trained in the Music Together method. Tara has 11 years teaching experience in Michigan and New Jersey.
Cheri Sing, Movement
Cheri Sing’s passion for dance was ignited by her first dance teacher, Bernie Tederington who grew up dancing on the Vaudeville circuit. Bernie taught Cheri how to tap dance. Cheri also studied ballet and modern dance for over a decade, and her teachers encouraged her to pursue a career as a dance instructor. But Cheri was headstrong and young, and she didn’t follow the advice of her dance mentors. She attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and received a degree in French. She later attended Eastern Michigan University where she studied education and Spanish, and currently, Cheri teaches French for Dexter Community Schools.
Cheri now lives in Chelsea with her family and has found her way back to the world of dance thanks to the inspiring people and environment at the Tree of Life Cultural Arts Studio.
